I found that trying to animate the transformer without the use of IK handles near to impossible.

So he now has handles..

Arms Modelled & Gun Test

Finished modeling the arms now, I may add bits too it to fill it out later if they look scrawny in comparison to the rest of the body.

New Feet

I've changed the feet as i felt they looked abit too animal'ly (if thats even a word) and not human enough with the claws.

Falling Behind...

As I seem to be slowly falling behind schedule and I need to have all the modelling done by the end of March, I have put together a little gant chart to help me stay on track!

Finished modelling the head of the tranny, had a play around with the set driven keys and rigged it to see if they all worked. Video below:

really chuffed with how the eyes have come out, yet I hate the nose, redesigning that straight away..

Herald's Head Start

Tranny Herald's Position

Trying to show how the tranny will be laying inside the car, remember there wont be much to the torso, just a few pipes and cogs, same with the thigh's, however, the feet, hands and head will be completly made already, only to with parts shifting slightly when it transforms to make it look like they have transformed too.

The head will lay under the bonnet, coming up in the middle with parts of the engine.

The Arms will lay on either side of the head under the bonnet

Torso under the base of the car, legs and thighs in the boot.
